World Health Assembly and Future of AIDS

The World Health Assembly kicks off next week in Geneva – for those not familiar with the global health world this is the annual shindig where member states, bureaucrats, a few NGOs, experts and big ole philanthropists get together to discuss and strategise the big issues in global health.

The big ones this year will be Zika, Yellow Fever, Ebola, the new Director General, Universal Health Coverage.

Also on the agenda is the future global HIV/AIDS Strategy – this is the most important strategy of the last 15 years. Check out why this is on a blog post I’ve written for the Huffington Post here:
